The learning needs of staff from all disciplines in the Practice can be supported by a number of means. There is consortium of training providers in Glasgow which includes statutory and non statutory organisations. Members include PHACE Scotland, the FPA and Caledonia Youth in addition to Health Promotion at the Board, Caledonian University and the Sandyford initiative. As well as training on confidentiality, attitudes and awareness, there are also courses leading to nationally accredited professional qualifications such as the Sexually Transmitted Infection Foundation (STIF) course and the Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning (DFFP).
